But CompX-Wave is not a one-trick pony. It does extreme sound processing – and some of its tricks are a bit weird thanks to the on board Waveshaper – but it does much more. Softened vocals; in-your-face basses, creamy pianos, mangled drums, and distorted synthesizers are all in its skill set. While designed for use on individual tracks, CompX-Wave can also work like a champ to bring life to full mixes.
